As part of an ongoing investigation on the reproductive ecology and movements of snowy plover / white plover (Charadrius alexandrinus nivosus ) in the National Wildlife Refuge of Salinas de Cabo Rojo (Puerto Rico), some specimens have been banding. have used a combination of colored rings, at least in a warm and one on the tarsus.
