Please read this file to "read and encode" properly a bird with colored rings or banner. It is in English, soon in English.
If you see banded birds, read the left leg (from top to bottom) and then the right leg (from top to bottom). Indicate also the position of all brands, including any metal ring.
The ringing of birds provides important information to know the different populations of migrating birds.
